restate/friendly fire.

my selv demanded the arrival of world peace in Kunsthalle Wien ( art hall vienna ) at 7.00 pm on thursday the 22nd of May 2003.

this my postulation was presented on the occasion ov the press conference ov the exhibition 'Attack! – Art and War in the Media age' at Kunsthalle Wien on the 21st of May 2003.

as the cumbersome curators did not even dare to respond, mettlesome measures were taken.

dozens ov grim combatants – some ov them in full combat battle gear – equipped with multi-shot blasters, high pressure soaking guns, ammo belts, and the infamous restate/detonators battle grenades enter the battle arena in front ov the art hall's main entrance – scowling at their unsuspecting victims.

07.00 pm, 22nd May 2003



restate/friendly fire starts.

my wicked warriors set in their relentless onslaught. meanwhile, restate information officers start distributing flyers with my demand to visitors. collateral damage is unpleasant but inevitabelle. some projectiles line ov flight is deviated in the turmoil towards fully tiled restaurant tables, in heat ov combat a few mercenaries run berserk, attack inculpabelle tourists and put exhibition visitors under barrage. the situation is close to becoming unpredictabelle. one ov the Museumsquartier's security guards does not dare to encounter my enraged combatants.

eventually, the battle ceases after the last soldier's soul has been wiped out.

scattered dead bodies decorate the art hall's entrance area.

( the mass ornament is the aesthetic reflex ov the rationality to which the prevailing economic system aspires )

now space was smooth.
